Since becoming a member and submitting my song, I seem to be no better off than before, But always get these e-mails to submit more songs and upgrade. Is it just the fees you are collecting as long as members are willing to pay? Or are you collecting fees to promote people of your choice music? The public should be the judge, They are the ones who buy the music, but you seem to act as if you decide for the public what they should buy. There are no music professional in the world to make a choice for the general public. So why are you treating some panel of people who were has been success with their own music to determine what is good from new writers and artists? Give us all a chance. You will gain more, Let the public be the judges if you are willing to help . There is room for everyone who are trying, Not just take the money from everyone who submit songs and leave the songs hanging in limbo.
How about having a show like opportunity knocks, hosted by the late great Hughie Green? A brilliant and fair way to present choice of entertainment to the public judged by the public. Consists of :Singers, Songs for Singers, Singer/songwriters, Comedians, Magicians, on a weekly basis, viewed and judged by the public , The winner for that week in the various catagories, will compete with other winners at a final, over a three monthly period, and the show continues with fresh acts to get the final places of 1st. 2nd. and 3rd. where those who win are judged by the public in those places are offered contracts by the majors. A fair playground for all. No two singers are alike, and should not be judged by other singers, let the general public make that choice.
