FELONi has been ranked #1 in Rap/Hip-hop on MTV's Soundtrack.mtv.com for 8 consecutive months!

FELONi's BIO:

Feloni aka Trish Best is Hip-Hop's new "underdog." She is an indie recording artist born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She is an aritst who is able to "mack" her game while expressing her sexual autonomy. Her style of music flips the script on male posturing and is changing the politics of the game by changing the subject of domination and the object of control.

Feloni's "controversial" debut single "Brand New" was 1st featured on the Russell Simmons & WJLB-FM 98 2005 Detroit Hip-Hop Summmit Mixtape, which also featured other top Detroit artists, like Trick Trick (Koch) and Jazze Pha's recording artist, Tone Tone. If you ever heard the popular hip-hop phrase "My Girl Gotta' Girlfriend," Feloni's music definitely helped inspire that phrase. Feloni's music was handpicked by Sony and used to host an international remix contest to help promote their AcidPro 6 software on AcidPlanet.com.

Feloni and her songs, "Brand New"..."I Can't Stop"..."Pussi Can" and "Fien'n 4U" were also featured on her own episode of the controversial reality show, "Coming Out Stories" on MTV's Logo network. It is also notable to mention that Feloni's reality episode was produced by Oscar nominated, and 3 time Emmy Award winning producers, Kirk Simon and Karen Goodman.

Feloni writes all her lyrics, and is Executive Producer of her debut album, "A Woman's Revenge" in which she mixed and recorded 90% of the album in her apartment's walk-in closet. Her debut album was self-released January 2007 on her self-owned indie label, Trak Diamond Records which is currently available on iTunes and all major online outlets. Feloni also appeared on the 2007 Grammy Award's ballot in the "Rap" category as a means of gaining "name recognition" in the music industry. She has a growing fan base, and has amassed over 23,000 fans on myspace and other social networks via word of mouth. She has opened for Hip-Hop's icon, DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepper, and major artists like Jadikiss' D Block: Stypes P and Sheek Louch.

Feloni says what Kanye West first went through as an "underdog" in hip-hop is not even remotely close to all the hate she's experienced thus far in the game. However, Feloni says, she loves the challenge because it inspires her to continue to break barriers and open people's mind to what they fear and don't understand. Feloni is now working on her sophomore album, "Love Spent"-an album, she says, will show that she's a skilled and protean artist who is proficient at keeping it "Real." Feloni describes her style as being similar to Tupac's style in the sense that they both have the ability to be "raw" yet "poetic" at the same time. Currently, Feloni is self-managed.
