Sun Ra, Jimi Hendrix, George Clinton(Parliament-Funkedelic),Sly and the Family stone, Iron Butterfly ,Bootsy Colins, The Beatles, Fuji , The Jungle Brothers , Africa Bambata, X clan, A Tribe Called Quest - and The Book Of Psalms are some of the influences of Brooklyn native, Emzkey One. "My music is influenced by my experiences throughout life, from spiritual to physical and all points in between". Some of the places where Emzkey One has performed have been The Universal Hip Hop Parade, The Five Spot,Arlene's Grocery,The People's Lounge ,Session Night at the Culture Center(M.O.S.R.), Peasant Podium - T.A.O.L, South Carolina State University,Graysons stadium in Georgia S.C and various other venues in the North East and South East regions of the U.S . Emzkey One decided to attend The Institute of Audio Research in to master his craft as an recording engineer. When asked what his goals are after graduating from IAR, he replied, "To leave an Immortal mark on the psyche of The Children Of Creation via a word and a mic, while riding the Cosmic Bump across the waters of time".
