Hi Emily,

As child I was also a virtuoso cellist and they threw words around like prodigy....etc. When I was 14 I discovered the guitar and put the cello aside....which in some ways, I wish I had never done it. Oddly enough I, during my years of touring and recording I was asked on numerous occasions to play cello for bands and other artists, which I did. I never lost the touch and love for the sound. That said, it is with great pleasure that I discovered you songs on Broadjam. Oddly enough, I have a song entitled, "Out Of The Blue", too...on Broadjam. Your composition is wonderful. I can truly feel that you put your heart and soul into playing the instrument.

Thanks for sharing. You have to buy a cello and take it up again.

Best to you,

Chet Nichols

Hi Chet,
Thanks for your message - and yes you should buy a cello and take it up again.
Also in case you are considering cello on any of your music - I have a recording facility whereby I do online sessions and either create cello parts / record a written one.
i hope should you require cello that you would consider me.
For your reference here is a link with samples of my session work for other recording artists together with testimonials.

....ahem.... I meant to say, "I" need to buy a cello and take it up again. Don't know that I will ever reach your level of playing, but I just LOVE the tone of the cello and, probably because of the way a player has to HOLD the cello, how it makes you whole body tingle when you start playing it.... Chet
