Electric Wings is a kinetic ball of energy with a mix of hard driving Rock and Roll and tear jerking ballads that leave you saying, “I can’t believe this is happening to me.”

Band Bio

The band leads you on a journey that takes you through the love, pain and party addiction that is lead singer John Wise. John, by his own admission, is not a role model, but he is the center of Electric Wings. From the opening shriek of “Endless Pain” to the political statements of “World of Madness”, Wise opens it all up, lays it all on the line and leaves nothing when he is done. Wise is living the dream that began when he was a teenager and tattooed his body with the “Flying V guitar with Wings” that has now become the logo for his life passion, Electric Wings.

The man simply known as Weedge is both Electric Wings' bass player...and their demographic. He is somebody who is living and breathing what this music is all about. It's not for the weekend party rock jocks or the nu-metal maniacs. It's for people with tattoos, ripped jeans, hair longer than this century smiles upon. In short, Weedge is walking it, talking it and on stage...selling it. He is completely rapt in the 4-strings that hold down the bottom end of their catalog. Swaying back and forth, jumping up on the drum riser and enjoying himself...all with a scowl on his face.

Drummer Art Koch, known from bands such as the late 80’s Glam Metal band “Shotgun” to the more current “The Confidence Interval”, serves up solid 2's and 4's. His no-frills approach allows the material breathing room and keeps the band the well-oiled music machine that it is.

Lead Guitarist Tony “TJ COE” Colon has a very diverse musical style. Colon, having played in “Under the Gun” a nationally know Country band in the late 80’s early 90’s to the more recent “TJ Coe and the Coe Conspirators”, brings his unique style to the Electric Wings sound.
