We're a 3 piece Southern Punk/Dirty Rock n Roll band out of Knoxville, TN. We got together August of 04 and have been tearing it up regularly since!
In the spring of 05 we met the camera crew from Atlanta's based Worldstorm
(arts lab) Productions who immediately started filming a documentary on us. this is being submitted to Film Festivals everywhere, this is gonna be huge as it's real, you won't see anything like it anywhere. Rebel Scum The Movie.
Music is our lives and we'll never stop. We play because it's inside us to do so.

As of Dec. 2011 The Dirty Works are recording NEW music for a CD hopefully released by spring. We got all kinds of surprises on there! Rockin' as hard as ever and never swaying from our Punk/Hardcore Roots this next album promises to be the most diverse yet hardest hitting DW CD so far.
I Christopher Scum am also working on another Solo album.A Follow up to Fifty Acres of Pain titled TRACKS.

The DIRTY WORKS

Born the summer of '04, the Dirty Works are a 3 piece Southern Punk/Dirty Rock n Roll band out to take over the Goddamn World.
Frogwater Injection, the Band's first E.P. came out in the fall of their first year and even though it was never officially released the band managed to sell over 400 copies of the CD.
Taking the show on the road almost immediately the Dirty Works made friends and fans all over the South and South East managing to create a Buzz around themselves.
At an especially chaotic show in a small town in TN the Dirty Works caught the eyes and ears of Atlanta Film Makers Worldstorm (Arts Lab) Productions. Long story made short, after following The Band to hell and back for over 2 years Worldstorm has a finished documentary on The Dirty Works titled Rebel Scum The Movie.
The bands first full length C.D. Biscuits and Liquor was independently released in the spring of 2006. Independent by choice as the guys stepped away from several Indie labels because of artistic differences. The Album, still selling has sold over 800 copies to date. GET Wrecked was next in 2009 and is available on CDBABY also.We are now working on our 4th CD,yet to be titled,but hopefully out by Sring/early summer 2012.
The reason for the time between albums and the Lack of a real tour since 2009 has been our van breaking down,Jobs,Jail terms and addictions but 2012 looks to be explosive.
