My songwriting career has been brief. Had it not been for a chance conversation, I would not be songwriting now. I have always enjoyed writing and decided to write lyrics as a hobby initially. I realised the potential of our music once I had written a small number of songs with a musician/composer, and previewed them to a small audience. I have no musical background and the only input I have is my opinion once the recording is finished. My genre of writing is determined only by the composer's interpretation of my lyrics, although all of the songs submitted here are in the pop category.

I would like to be involved in the production of some of the songs but alas have a failing where singing in tune is required so can only listen to the final product. I therefore aim to stick firmly to the writing!

My main influences in my lyrics have been my experience of life and the experiences of the lives of others. All of my songs have a story to tell, although not necessarily mine.
