Primarily a guitar player and vocalist, Dave Allan has been exploring the realms of 'New Age' soft synth technology. Currently Dave is playing with two live music projects in Calgary , Alberta - namely - 2ndGuest and The Dusty Roads Show Band.
Dave grew up in Scotland where he learned guitar and eventually teamed up with fellow artist Benedict(www.isound.com/benedict). They both were members of the well known band - Makossa - playing many prestigous venues in Scotland. Later when Dave moved to Canada, he met up with local French/Canadian muscicians - Ivan & Getan - in Grande Prairie, Alberta where they formed the trio - DIG - playing a mix of English and French songs and some original works.
Dave also played many solo gigs for childrens festivals in Grande Prairie and has also supported the Tai Chi club in Calgary when they have been in need of live music.
