Hailed the next Queen of the South is Linda Fils-Aime better known as Black Pearl. Born to a strong Haitian/American heritage, in the cultured streets of Miami, is where many of Black Pearl’s strength and writings stem. From a young age, she’s involved herself in school bands, drum corps and choirs to feed her love for music. After graduating high school, Black Pearl moved to Tallahassee to pursue a degree, which she soon finished in hopes to pursue music. During college, Pearl discovered her talent and love for hip-hop and embraced it to the fullest.

No stranger to the stage, Pearl has opened for acts such as 50 Cent, Trick Daddy, Trina, Field Mob, Thrill Da Playa and Toya, just to mention a few; her ability and flair to perform has definitely made her a favorite in her community and surrounding cities. She recently completed a seven city tour w/ Lil Wayne of Cash Money during the latter part of 2002. Many of her influences range from the likes of Enimen, JayZ, Lauryn Hill and Eve.
