Ben B the Brave (born Benjamin Byiringiro on 5th March 1995) is a Rwandan rapper, singer, songwriter,and composer notable for his conscious lyrics and enlivening performances. Benjamin, the third of four children, was born in Kigali city. He began singing in school clubs and like many other musicians, he enjoyed writing and performing music from an early age. Inspired by American hip hop artists like Eminem, he started rapping in high school (College Saint Jean Nyarusange & Ecole Secondaire Saint Joseph Karuganda) festivals and he represented his schools various times in art competitions while other times wrote songs for others. After being the finalist in the I CAN BE YOUR VOICE singing competition of the 1000hills promoters, and the AFRIFAME VOX, Benjamin started a professional career.

Apart from music, he completed a university degree in Urban and Regional Planning at University of Rwanda in 2017.
