Bellissima are Belle and Richard Erskine. The London (UK) based songwriters, regularly perform live and without exception, blow everyone in the audience away.
Honest, classic songwriting, coupled with Belles utterly unique vocals and Richards rhythmic style on acoustic guitar, Bellissima are without doubt one of the UK's finest live acts.

“I can quite honestly say I cannot remember the last time a band of this quality and talent walked into a BBC radio London studio.”
Sadie Nine (BBC Radio London)

“resident geniuses who take your spirit in the palm of their gifted hands and lift it up out of the daily grey in a single, benevolent act of acoustic salvation”

Christopher Peyton (founder of Monday nights at Kabaret, Woodies and Boujis, who asked Bellissima to be resident band after their first performance at Kabaret,Soho.)

Bellissima

Bellissima are Richard and Belle Erskine

Richard provides the curley locks and Belle, the pencil skirts and general glamour !

Married now for 5 years Belle and Rich both write and produce in their studio in deepest darkest South East London.

They combine all genres of contemporary music using Richards distinctive, innovative guitar style and Belles jaw dropping, tingles down the spine vocals, to pin it all together.

These descriptions come from fans….here’s a few more….

your wife is a surprising little package of dynamite! It's so great to see people playing with passion
positive vibes
Cindy

Saw you for a second time last night and am listening to
your CD.
There are no adjectives good enough for your music!
Would love to see you live again whenever possible, so please add me to
your list.

16 solid and frankly incredible tracks, not one dud amongst them and the production quality is fabulous. It’s every bit as good as you are live, energy and all, and the arrangements are stunning. Seriously. I shall probably play this till it falls apart. 'Exception' is stuck in my head as it is. Belle's voice just has so many colours.

Your "duo" session in the 12 Bar Club was superb.
See you next time.
Ian & Marie

Just a word to say how much I enjoyed listening to you
on BBC 94.9 tonight (Tues)/ Wed morning for you ...
You two really sounded great and had great lyrics.

Saw you guys at the Bedford a few weeks ago and thought you were amazing. Tried to buy the CD but you'd sold out! Have had to make do with grooving away to the tracks you've got on myspace, but when, where and how can I get more than 4 songs??
And when are you playing next? Have friends who would love you that I'd like to bring along!

Bellissima have been featured on BBC radio London live and are firm favourites with DJs Gary Crowly and Sadie Nine.

Bellissima regularly perform live in London, adding to their already large fan base, at every gig.

Bellissima regularly sell loads of albums at gigs. Their appeal is very wide.
They usually run out of CD’s on a gig!

It is essential for Belle and Rich to play live regularly, as this allows them to realise that their music is really moving and impressing people.

‘Playing live is really the most important thing for us, as you get the immediate feedback and support from the crowd.’ The public let us know how much they love what we do….it’s an unbelievable feeling and makes us very happy!!
Music is for people …and we are reaching people on a regular basis, therefore we continue, always.’

Bellissima songs have featured on these compilation albums alongside Frank Sinatra, Groove Armada, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone.
Bellissima song ‘You say’ has been recorded by ‘Peyton’ (singer/songwriter and live music pioneer, Peyton ran the Monday nights at Kabaret club), his album is available on Hed kandi

Bellissima have recently been signed by publishers FAT FOX and are currently writing and

Dudes I was listening to Nothing's ever easy and wondered why you didn't make the chorus 'Your Lovin comes so easy', would be a more commercial take and contrast a bit with the verse lyrics - Just a thought..
