Established in 2005, the three artist have built their own platform to produce quality music and release it independently. Using creativity, complex wordplay, and their own brand of imagination, Bankrupt Records has created a sound that's unique and provacative. The music is a mixture of real life emotion, cheap thrills, good times, and dark imagery. Bankrupt Records released its first professional release "Underground Mythology" on September 4th 2006 and has since flooded the underground market with a style that could only be defined as "Bankrupt". In 2008, the DUO released "Night Vision", an album as dark and gritty as it sounds. That same year the label released "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", an underground supergroup composed of Bankrupt Records, Southern Hustlaz Inc, and Sico which marked their first album to hit sales in the four digit category. In 2009 Bankrupt toured heavily and released "Gods and Generals", an album promoting talented underground artist in Georgia. In 2010, the DUO plan on releasing Bankrupt's first all studio album "Double Vision". With an incredibly loyal and growing underground fan base, plan on seeing more and more of them in the future.
