AUDIOCRASH BIO

Audiocrash is the alt-rock creation of Craig ("Herc"), the guitarist, songwriter, producer and back up vocalist of this latest venture formed in 2006. Craig's musical pedigree ( 1988 through 1994) includes membership with the Florida rock quartet- “The Stand”. “The Stand”, was an exciting and popular alternative rock band which headlined South Florida "Iconic" 80's/90's venues: The Reunion Room, Fire and Ice, The Button South, The Basement, Squeeze..... and others. Craig took a 10+ year hiatus from playing live when he chose to focus and devote more time to his family. The hiatus is over... Craig has returned to team with lead vocalist and songwriter Guy Spak (G-Pak) to form the band: “Audiocrash.” Guy fronted several bands including "The Knumbskulls" (A/K/A "The Swampcorpse"), which was one of Europe's pioneer psychobilly/punk/rock bands of the mid to late 1980's. Guy later returned to the US where he joined and performed with the alternative/acoustic sounds of "Love smells love like love" a/k/a "Julius U" into the early to mid 1990's. Like Craig, Guy chose a long break from music to focus on family, career and the Ocean. The collaborative intention(s) of AudioCrash were to tap into Craig’s vast vault of "pre-hiatus" original tunes (without lyrics/vocals). Guy added words, paraphrasing and harmonies to solidify the works. The listener should keep in mind that some of the music posted here was written 4 or more years ago. AudioCrash invites you to listen to the results of its experience, creativity and collaboration. Audiocrash seeks to combine this experience with its true love for rock and roll yielding a new set of alternative sounds that we hope will entertain the music world once again. You may find that our style is not defined... that is our objective. We strive to produce different sounds ranging from soft to hard....
