Attic Trax is all about chill out music with attitude; a trawl through the musical landscape bringing a uniquely layered instrumental sound. Incorporating such diverse sounds as down tempo, alternative rock, ambient, electronica, acoustic, nu jazz with a twist of lounge.

Behind the sound

Richard Jacob, composer, sound engineer and producer who has worked on numerous projects encompassing a variety of musical styles from classical recording, live guitar bands as well as numerous dance projects including producing the 1998 MOBO winner "Get Up" by The Jazz Stepper's. Attic Trax represents a cumulation of all my musical experiences listening, recording and managing acts over the years. Inspiration is taken from everyday life - travel, family, films, politics, pets and pubs.
