Attic Base has already enjoyed a top ten radio hit with their track, “Ultra” on the SLY 96.1 FM charts in 1998. This prompted them to start their own record label to independently release their album, “Action” in 1999. Both A Different Drum and Kinetic Response Records have assisted in releasing their debut CD. Their track, “Sky” was released on A Different Drum’s highly successful compilation; “Shadow Dancing” in August and they had a feature interview with New Wave Magazine, Lexicon, back in November of 2000. They’ve been featured artists on the Mp3.com new wave charts consistently. As a result of their success on Mp3.com, they were picked up by Kinetic Response Records to release their second album, “Night Vision” in late 2002 In addition, their MP3 chart burning caught the attention of an A&R Rep from Universal Music Group.
