Apryl has been writing from a young age. She does not TRY to write, it is just a normal outflow of her daily life. She composes songs that are mostly contained within the Christian Country, Southern Gospel, and Country Music fields.

As a young girl, Apryl would travel with her step-dad who was an evangelist. She would sing solos before he would preach. Through this experience she became very comfortable singing on stage. After college, she started traveling all over her home state of Oklahoma to sing at various churches, religious functions, county fairs, theme parks, ect.

When her husband took a teaching job in Kansas, Apryl and her husband (along with their 2 children) began to spend the summers touring coast to coast. The rest of the time she stayed busy singing around her new state of Kansas and revisiting Oklahoma.
