ANON is a Shakesperian term for "soon". We believe that King Jesus is coming soon for those who belong to Him. Our music is a reflection of that belief. We are fractured story tellers with hearts broken by what breaks His heart.

Anon (Soon) the King is coming!

Anon formed late 2002 when percussionist Jon Martin joined with Alfred and Rebecca Penn to create music motivated by their passion for telling the story of Jesus Christ to others. Jon, born and raised in Massachusetts, is a former Marine. He and his wife Cherie currently reside in Jacksonville, NC with their two sons where they work with The Navigators as life coaches for Marines and Sailors aboard Camp Lejeune. Alfred met Rebecca during a ministry training event in California called Spirit West Coast. They are both on staff with The Navigators and live with their daughter in Jacksonville, NC. Alfred is an active duty Marine currently serving 1st Battalion 2d Marines. Bassist Scott Semrad was born and raised in San Diego, CA and currently lives in New Bern, NC. In 2005 Anon teamed up with Cleintell Entertainment to perform live for a ministry of music for all of Camp Lejeune's faithful. In June 2005 Al Penn contributed to the Riverwalk Festival playing for two separate performances by "April" and "Antoine Parker" with over 4500 in attendance. Anon is blessed to bring a different style of Christian rock, folk and neo-soul music to the forefront.
