Homelessness never slowed Andrea President from her passionate pursuit of music. In fact, that struggle was instrumental in her musical growth, as well as her personal healing.

Andrea found herself at the doors of Youth Movement Records (YMR), a youth-run record label and youth development program. There she formalized her relationship with Recording Academy (NARAS) members, Larry Batiste and Claytoven Richardson, and recorded her first song, "Like My Father". Since then she has performed with David Pack (from Ambrosia), David Jenkins (from Pablo Cruise), Col. Hardgrove (from Public Enemy), Larry Carlton, and Jimmy Nichols (Faith Hill's Music Director).

Currently, Andrea has completed her first CD, Andrea President - A Secret Place. She is also co-director at The Digital Arts & Culinary Academy in Oakland, CA, where she facilitates program logistics and inspires youth to use music, video, agriculture, and culinary arts as a healthy outlet of expression.
