Work continues on the latest project and as I've said, it's going to be a BIG one with lots of special guests! The idea is to come up with as much new material as possible, maybe 50 or 60 pieces, and then choose the best from the lot! So far, there are about 28 tunes in the can in various stages of completion. Can't really project a release date, but stay tuned as it develops! May the force be with you...JP

Alien Music Club is an eclectic blend of alternative music in diverse musical genres ranging from all forms of rock to jazz to funk to anything in between with intelligent lyrics and a playful sense of humor. Alien Music Club’s composer & primary instrumentalist is Jonathan Pearlman.
Jonathan began performing in front of audiences at the age of six singing Elvis and Bobby Darin songs at beauty pageants and rotary clubs. He took up guitar at age 9 when the Beatles hit. Hendrix, Clapton, Paul Simon and Frank Zappa were big influences. He moved on to jazz, blues and even country, playing in bars in south Georgia. Jonathan had a power trio during the college years, performing Hendrix and Zeppelin and the like.
Jon’s musical career came to an abrupt halt after all his equipment was stolen out of a car in a motel parking lot after gig in Mobile, Alabama. He went back to school, majored in Broadcasting at the University of Florida, and got a job in Fayetteville, NC as a multimedia specialist. That’s when he first got into writing & recording. He’s been hooked ever since.
