Paducah, KY native Adam Grant began his musical journey at age 12, emulating his heroes in the punk and alternative rock scene. By age 17, he was displaying the influences of classic rock acts such as The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and Bruce Springsteen in acoustic performances in his hometown coffeehouse circuit. A loyal fanbase started amassing due to self produced acoustic demos passed on to whomever would listen, and saturation of the Internet market. In the summer of 2005, Adam headed to the studio in Kansas City to record his first full-band ep, In The Name of Liberty. He then formed a band called The Satisfaction and began playing shows in his regional area. Adam released his second ep, Smells Like Death, in 2006. A.G. & The Satisfaction enjoyed local success and continued to write, record, and perform until disbanding in 2010.
