Ranco De Mayor / Omenma
Ranco De Mayor was born in Umuishiovuishiukwu of Umuochie in Umuokpara of Umuase Ngwo. Omenma migrated to the United States of America in search of a better life "The Dream of A world." Interest in music began as a child, but not able to pursue that interest and was in-fact discourage by family stating that musicians are "anughi aba uru" meaning that they are generally useless people. The thought or idea of becoming a musician was buried during my childhood age as a result of too much negative attachment to the career and due to lack of support. In high school, the interest was rekindled after listening to lots of Bob Mary's and other reggae songs. Music just puts me in a mood that only gets closer to God. The feeling I get with singing mood are indescribable phenomenal.
In America I decided to take that feeling and love of music and extend it to the next level and allow other people to feel what I feel.
Yet again, I was bombarded by negative remarks and there were too many depressors to what I cherish most. For me, the sky is the limit. I love constructive criticism and I appreciate it every time. Email me with your thoughts at opinion@rancodemayor.com.
