The EP includes five original songs written by Maddie and co-writer Stuart Maxfield. Maddie is the main writer on all of the songs, including lyrics and melodies.
Maddie's song "Skirts" hit multiple Indie Country Charts in March 2012 and is now being played on radio stations throughout the US and the world. She will be featured by the Independent Music Network in April and the show will be syndicated to hundreds of radio stations around the globe. Currently "Skirts" has risen to #11 in just its second week on the charts.

On March 30th Maddie found out that Carrie Underwood posted her video cover of, Carrie's new song, "Good Girl" on her Facebook page. Carrie's team said "We love this cover".
Maddie has turned down some very significant management and label offers so far, and a personal invitation from XFactor to audition for season 2. She is sure that other opportunities are coming her way that will allow her to be the type of artist that she wants to be. She is excited about her country music future!
As an individual artist Maddie has won many singing contests, some against adult professionals, performed at concerts, festivals and professional athletic events. She performed at the famed Nashville Palace during CMA week in June, 2011.
