UK based guitarist Jay Parmar has dedicated most of his life to the pursuit of playing and writing music. Influence by acclaimed virtuoso guitar players like George Lynch, Steve Vai and Steve Stevens Jay's playing reflects the elements of the virtuoso playing from the 80s, and combining this with exotic, eastern and modern sounds and techniques to create his own blend of melodic instrumental rock. Amongst other projects, Jay recorded tracks for, produced and released "Will Play For Lynch - A George Lynch tribute", has worked with hard rock band Wycked Synn, recorded for New York rockers Twilight Odyssey, and is currently working on his solo instrumental album "Strange Day" due for release in early 2005 (which will include tracks listed in the current Active Playlist).
