Rebels by nature. Writers by heart. Soaky Siren & YN are on a mission and they are armed with nothing but the melodies that run rampant in their heads. Yannique 'YN' Clarke was raised in Florida, while Rosina "Soaky Siren" Russell hails from Freeport, Bahamas. In 2007, Soaky Siren joined forces with YN to form 80'S'ix Music Group. The team has since worked with Cool and Dre, The Monarch/The Runners, Illfactor, Gorilla Tek, The Fisticuffs, The Inkredibles, Tony 'CD' Kelly and a number of other producers.

The pair has created a sound that is unheard of; the melodies, lyrics and vocal arrangements yield a signature sound that is nothing short of timeless. There is no single genre that can personify what 80'S'ix does; after browsing through their catalog, one will quickly discern that the team will deliver a smash whether it be a Pop, R&B, Dance or Rap record. The two continue to master their craft; having all but taken up residence in the studios that they frequent.

One notable characteristic of the team is their ability to fit the mold of any artist they write for without sacrificing the style and sound that distinguishes them from any other writers. As their catalog grows, they look forward to penning Billboard Top 40 records and continuing to make great music.
