In 2003, Soul Liberty formed in Richmond, VA, dedicated to becoming a "household" name in modern rock. Already recieving comparisons to everyone from Chevelle to Disturbed, Soul Liberty's style can be summed up as 'aggressive-emotion' driven by melodic vocals. From their powerful verses to their catchy chours' Soul Liberty still maintains a passionate intensity that resonates a balance between the emo and rock genres of today's music. The band itself is like a family. Twin brothers, Pete and John and their unofficially adopted third brother Josh have created a unique bond that most bands lack.
