Broadjam Member Reviews

It's very unique, stays on topic... great beat and great vocals. Solid production.

    - Tyde Moore

Excellent tune with many stellar aspects. GREAT hypnotic sound that set the mood early and created a great vibe, theme, attitude. Hope you don't mind the reference, but this reminded me a little of Queensryche "Operation Mindcrime." -- meaning that in a VERY GOOD way - thematically and with a "cinematic" vibe. Especially liked the electronic sounds in the intro and choice of instruments and sounds.

Lyrics

I'm moving on with my life
Moving on without you
I can't live my life like this
No, I can't live my life like this

I'm moving on with my life
Moving on without you
I won't live my life like this
No, I won't live my life like this

Mama dear, he treats me so bad
Sometimes I feel like his punching bag
I know you thought he was a gentleman
It's when he drinks, that he thinks he's the man
Mama dear, I hope you understand
My heart is good it's what I did that was bad
I put a gun up to his head
I pulled back the trigger and now he's dead

(chorus)

You see if I didn't move on,
I would be the one
In the ground
Ground deep under
6ft down
How did they get that number?
You see it's been so many years
That I lived in this fear
I couldn't breath, I couldn't see
I couldn't get out of this misery
And you see he pushed me
He pushed me so far
I was a broken woman
I was a fallen star
But I hit the ground like an inferno
The fear became a tornado
With winds of fire
I burned him alive
I burned him alive
I burned him alive
