Story Behind The Song
The song was inspired by the Late, Great performer "Sam Cooke" who knew and performed with our father "George Bowen" in Chicago. Our Dad when down one road and Sam the "Other": resulting in Sam becoming famous and "World Renown" and my Dad, virtually "Unknown". However in a way, "Sam" ended up paying the "Ultimate Price" and my Dad -- well, he's still here.
This song is dedicated the memory of "Sam Cooke".
