Song Description

With the continual decline in the western civilization, I wanted to write a song about the spiritual leaders of the world warning us to do better and to stop evil before it is too late.

Lyrics

Preacher man was sitting - by the street - about a year ago
I stopped by to talk - and ask him what ? he has seen
He said boy sit down - and rest a while - and listen to me speak
I?ve seen many things - and this is what - has been shown to me

I see ? Bad times up ahead
And we?re the moths drawn to the flame
Bad times up ahead ? Bad times up ahead
You know it drives me crazy ? but I see!
Bad times up ahead
Bad times up ahead

Boy many years ago - I was a young - no different from you
I saw my chance at redemption - so I grabbed it up - with both hands
But I didn?t hold tight enough - and it slipped away - away from me
Now my time has come and gone - ya, ya, ya - and your time has arrived

I see ? Bad times up ahead
And we?re the moths drawn to the flame
Bad times up ahead ? Bad times up ahead
You know it drives me crazy ? but I see!
Bad times up ahead

He said, son you?ve got to work hard - and give it all you got
Cause there?s no excuse, good enough - when you never ever tried to change things
You got to, you got to, you got to - change things
You got to, you got to, you got to - change things?

Bad times up ahead ? Bad times up ahead
Bad times up ahead
Bad times up ahead
Bad times up ahead
Bad times up ahead?
