Story Behind The Song

Basically we broke up and I apologized - and wrote a song about it. There actually was one last buttercup I saw in my backyard and made me think of how important this was to me.

Song Description

Buttercup encompasses that which breaks us apart and that which brings us together. The emotional fiber of our being pulls at our heartstrings and forces us to action. With the chorus imploring a lover to "be my buttercup", this song will....HAHAHA!!! That was a load of crap now wasn't it? Well hey, I'm full of it. And besides, I've always hated describing songs. The description IS the song. (I'm never going to get anywhere writing descriptions like this am I?)
