Inspired by multiple agents and other music pros insisting that I needed to change my music, writing style etc... do this and that to make it in the music biz.

Song Description

Women trying to make it in the music business lamenting her history of odd jobs. Tongue in cheek over how that Nashville icon "The Agent" is "helping" her.

Lyrics

Since I was a young girl all I wanted was to write the songs.
I gave it my best shot but something always seemed to go wrong.
I played a radio dj, a tv talk show host. I washed dogs and trucks and hair.
Ah but then I met the agent and it's been all down hill from there...He said

So we played department store openings, sushi bars and county fairs.
