Story Behind The Song
I heard on the radio that John Lennon was shot in NYC in 1980 and I was alone in a flat in London by then, this was a shock to everyone. The song is about the fact that in spite we promote love we see things moving in a different direction worldwide

Lyrics
It's two o'clock in the afternoon
And it's dark outside
Sunshine shines through windows washed once upon a time
The oven warms my feet
And I am sitting on the floor...
It seems as someone came and took away my furniture
You hear it on the radio... yes you are going to be all right
One below cero is the outside tº
The Green Woods upon the hill
Invite you for a walk
An empty plastic cup and a poster on the wall
Announcing the death of
John Lennon and of Ono
But there is no time for
existential matters
Nobody wants to hear or talk about it any more
We might just get along with what we´ve got in hand
Tomorrow it might be gone and so you my friend
You hear it on the radio ...
If nuclear makes money
they just go ahead
Cause they don't care they have a ticket for the underground state
And stories cross my mind of better times
Where love and faith and future... well we were gonna be all right
You hear it on the radio...
