Being self consciouse about everything superficial stops you from living your life and that when you look beyond all the judgements of other people you find that beauty exists in everyone even in the people you classify as 'an enemy' or otherwise known as 'the thorn'. The media has created a perception of what is 'beautiful' or 'perfect' when perfection cannot be defined as any one thing or one way, Beauty can be seen in everything if you chose to express that positivity from yourself.
