Song Description

A song about a relationship filled with jealousy and lust, and how people can treat eachother like objects

Story Behind the Song

This song was inspired by a relationship of mine that lasted on pure lust. I wrote it after a serious of conitnuous fighting and arguments.

Lyrics

Forgive this miscommunication, for the right words are buried in plain sight
Divide you through and through is not something I'm about to do
Bright days are the best times to feel my worst in your absence
I want to chain me to you and tug you directly into my view

Forever burn this fire, you are the object of my desire
Of this lust I never tire, distance makes it that much more dire

Forgive this misinterpretation, for the explanation's buried in plain sight
To argue, win or lose, is not something I would rather do
Of worldly restraints we are bound, we hope, we wonder, and we dream of more
I want to chain me to you and tug you directly into my view

Forever burn this fire, you are the object of my desire
Of this lust I never tire, distance makes it that much more dire
