Story Behind The Song
I was asked to write a song like "Take the A Train" for a Theatre company. I took the "big Band" feel and added Rock/Blues guitars and a very catchey vocal line. Every time this song is played live, the crowd just yells till we do it again. Sometimes we have to play this song 4 times a night!
Song Description
A great "feel-good" song with a great hook, lots of great guitar and sax. Very infectious melody. This song will make you feel good.

Lyrics
I'm Sure you've got somewhere to go.
Where that is, I don't know but
Vinni and the boys ain't goin' nowhere.
Your Mama Says that it ain't right
The way we sing and dance all night
All I've got to say is your Mama ain't here.
We're havin' a good time.
W're havin' a good, good, good, good old time.
Your Mama says that it ain't right
the way we sing and dance all night.
Like I said before, your Mama ain't here.
And if we're having fun and feelin' right
We might just stay out all night.
We're havin' a good time.
We're havin' a good time.
We're havin' a good, good, good, good old time.
