Song Description

The singer is pushed and shoved in the crowds, tryin' to get beads and trinkets from the Mardi Gras floats in New Orleans. She discovers that she can bare her breasts and get lots of stuff! She enjoys the festivities, from the street parades, walkin' in a public place drunk, to attending a masquerade ball. Hiding behind a mask, she can go home with no regrets or consequences and stories to tell to her closest friends.

Story Behind the Song

Ever been to a Mardi Gras celebration? I just thought I'd share my experience from the French Quarter in New Orleans.
