Very original Christmas song! I really enjoyed hearing it. Nice intro, and your vocals are clear, very easy to understand, which is HUGE. Your lyric writing is clever and very original. There was only one rhyme I wasn't fond of (destiny/need). You have created some very good word pictures, sun scorching, dust kicked up, not like any other Christmas song I have heard. Got a kick out of Joseph callin' Mary Darlin'. Now THAT'S original! I like the way you got quiet, simple and reverent at the end. Nice touch. Keep up the good work.

Lyrics

Joseph searched the skies and lit the lantern
Saddled up and packed before dawn
He Gently nudged Mary,
and she woke with the babe she carried
He said Darlin' it's time to be movin' on

As the first light stretched across the land
He smiled and took her by he hand
It's the last leg of our journey the Lord's sure to guide our way
By day's end we'll be settled in Bethlehem
By day's end we'll be in Bethlehem

!0,000 Angels, walked silently
forever guarding the Prince of Peace
10,000 Angels, walked silently
preparing the way for the King of Kings

The sun scorched, the dust kicked up,
they stopped many times for a rest
Mary, she grew weary, her strength put to the test
Step by step they travelled on towards their destiny
With hope and a promise, what more did they need
He might have sent an honour guard
to be sure they were safe,
in God's hands, he prepared, the way
By days end we'll be in Bethlehem

10,000 Angels walked silently
forever guarding the Prince of Peace
10,000 Angels, all celebrated the birth of the Savior of the world

10,000 Angels, walked silently, forever guarding the Prince of Peace
Forever remembered, forever adored
Christ our Savior, our living Lord

10,000 Angels walked silently
forever guarding the Prince of Peace

Extra verse
10,000 Angels now sing
forever praising our God of Love
Forever remembered, forever adored
Christ our Savior,
our living Lord
