Story Behind The Song

One october 2001 evening I tried to compose a piece using modes, but it didn't satisfy me (I was a bit sorry). Then, while in bed late at night thinking, I got some inspiration and got up to write this new piece of music. I wrote for two hours during the night and did almost completely that what now is the first part of Cosmic Voyage, which I retouched in the following days. Some days later I was writing a homework melody for my music theory lessons with the same instruments of the previous composition... I liked it so much that I decided to use it as a second part my tune.

Song Description

String quartet, brass, motion synth, synth bass, drums, percussions, fast synths, effects, solo violin, synth vocals. All sounds are electronic. This tune is written in the mixsolydian (first part), phrygian and dorian modes (second part).
