Someone stops looking outward for answers & is fulfilled when they look inside and has an ipiphany

Tight overall groove. Lyrics have potential. Vocals pick up as song goes along

    - Soul Bind

This song remindedme of a rush type song. Classic rock maybe. The used of the double vocals adlibs etc was cool. The quality of the recording needs a lot of work but I can see the potential of the song lyric wise.

Lyrics

Hungry Child
Cory & Teri Feaser (C)2007

I sat upon a busy street
watching life pass beneath my feet
Swirling into darkness
down into the deep

into a bleeding cesspool
where empty hearts remain
where watered down humanity
writhes around in pain

I was such a hungry child
running fast & running wild
running to or running from
running just to run

I craved the food of knowledge
I longed for just a bite
searching for days & countless miles
I was never satisfied

I thirsted & I hungered
& when my life grew dim
the only place left to go
was buried deep within

when I dove into the deep
I found a brand new world
a table lay before me
my hunger was no more

at last my heart is satisfied
and as I walk I smile
my path is now filled with joy
& each step is worthwhile

I was such a hungry child
running fast & running wild
running to or running from
running just to run

I found life down in the deep
on a dark & desperate day
when the only thing that I had left
was mine to grasp or take away

hungry child
