Faith in Me

Story Behind The Song

I was feeling bad and like nothing was going right. In a dream I had the lord come to me and reached out his hand. When I finally took it I awoke to write this song.

Song Description

Sometimes you never know just how bad you don't have it untill you find out how bad it can get. Some people never find faith untill they are at the bottom of the barrel and have lost hope. As this song starts I blame god for everything bad only to find out that he is the one who truely has faith in me. It is uplifting and can help you to see your faith in a new light.

Lyrics

Faith In Me
(Verse 1)
I turned on the light And there sat a stranger
He was in my home But I felt no danger
I said do I know you You look familiar
He said we?ve spoken But you?ve lost my number

He said, You gave me your heart A long time ago
But lately you?ve lost your faith in me
I said how do you expect me to love you
When you put me through so much that I can?t breathe

(Chorus)
He said here?s my hand Take it if you can
Follow me now I?ll show you my plan
Trust in me and who I am I?ll never give you more than you can stand
Oh but Lord I can?t believe That you could have
So much faith in me

(Verse 2)
I do believe That you died for me
And with who I?ve been You must be crazy
I am a lost cause Don?t derseve your glory
You should pass me by And just leave me be

Cause you don?t know how hard this is on me
Or how far I will bend before I crack
But, He just smiled as he looked straight at me
And he reached for me with two scarred hands
(Repeat Chorus)
