The song fits the Country Genre. The instrumentation, production, arrangement and vocals all are well suited for the song. The lyrics tell a story and have a good hook. It kept me engaged me throughout the whole song.

Strong clear vocal...this is more country than Americana but it has crossover potential...it's a positive up tempo song and it's romantic...this type of guitar/vocal are used a lot in movie and television as background music. The lyrics are well written and the rhyme and meter were consistent...the arrangement is also commercial...I liked the chorus melody a lot...very catchy and memorable
