Song Description

Decades ago,Cancer was never heard of nor researched and all of a sudden, it has wrecked lives/dreams/families and has created debt for people around the world. Quoting Roger Daltry, With the world in such a state of flux, I get puzzled that people are saying so little in music. Hence the lyrical & musical journey of Times in Life

Story Behind the Song

My Grandfather was an MD/General Practitioner and passed from a stroke in 1970 and that was when the topic originated for me, musically. Have had an Aunt pass of Breast Cancer, Cousin passed from Lung Cancer and my Dad passed in 2011 from Prostate Cancer. 7 out of 10 people you meet has dealt with Cancer, either directly or indirectly. Quoting Roger Daltry, ""With the world in such a state of flux, I get puzzled that people are saying so little in music."

Verse: It all started, when time, wasn't so, confusing
I close my eyes and feel, the pain, inside

Hanging on a hot rope, Our prayers, Never lie
Doctor Time, wont you ease our aching minds
We say its not true, Doctor says, he's through
All we want to know is, how to get, rid of you

Chorus: Cancer, Stop it Now
Cancer, Disappear

Verse: It all started, when life, wasn't so, confusing
Miscalculations, not enough information, to cure our ills
Spending hours of time, filling lakes with tears
Radiation, you want more, Aint fair and you know
All we, need to do, is find a way, to get, rid of you

Chorus: Cancer, Stop it now
Cancer, Disappear

(Lead solo/Bridge)

Backup Vocals: Don't you see me beg, Cant you hear my plea

Repeating Chorus
