This song is talking about how a thug grew up on the streets in his hometown, and from what he was (a drug dealer) to what he became now (a rapper). It talks about how on the streets the people who knows where he is coming from feels his hunger for the fame and the pain that he suffered when he was on the streets. It talks about the hard life of a thug who changed so that he could make a name for himself. it talks about how he has to leave the streets but hs heart is still there, and there are a bunch of people hating and barking but afraid to bite so he keeps on moving.
