My songs don't stink, absolutely not
Hey, I'd be the first to know
So no, it don't stink, I know, what I got
Master piece..., finished, .....ready to go

People are saying, some of my songs.... stink
Those people are right, ......some of em'... do
Those go in the round file, by the sink
Never to be seen, in or near , the open door

So it is my hope, my desire, ......nothing short
Of writing songs, ...meaningful, .... from my heart
Not all songs I write,...... create a tearful response
There's fun songs, sad songs and songs of romance

Now, of course, I believe in the songs, I've written
But overwhelmed by the challenges, I've accepted
I Don't like, being unaware of the mortality date,.... I've been given
May the world know,... relate to, ...enjoy, and ......I'm not forgotten
