Story Behind The Song

I wrote a song in the Fall of 2017 called 'Anytown.' The song was written in response to the events that took place in Charlottesville VA over the Summer of 2017. However, the song is not explicitly about that event. Rather, it is what I call a "love song" - how we must reconcile that bad things can happen anytime, anywhere (thus "Anytown") and how as long as we stand with and for love, we can overcome hate.
