Story Behind The Song

i used to drive from Edmonton to the mountains around Canmore, Banff & Lake Louise. I would take the route less-travelled across the prairie to the foothills. the mountains looming ever-closer as I approached. Their magnificence never failed to impress...my pilgrimage to visit my friends was made as much to witness & embrace the awesome & majestic power of those peaks.
