Story Behind The Song

I was upset. I was disgusted. I was sad. I was enraged... And all because of my own actions. I wanted to be running to God, but I felt like I was crawling. As I started writing "Addoni" over the course of a few days, I began to feel liked I had picked myself up a bit and was walking. Then, after a few more days, I was happily running for glory. This song is an anthem for people that feel down and out; for people that want to be running but feel like they are crawling. We all slow down to a jog, and we fall down and crawl and we stand up and walk again, and it just continues: One day though, our dirt road will turn to gold, and we can be in his glory and stop running. "Addoni" is written in longing for that day.
