Song Description

About the modern trend to speak yet say nothing at all.

Story Behind the Song

Had the words for the chorus for absolutely ages, just coulsn't find a tune to hang it on. Had time on my hands so built up from the drums upwards

Very good! This song has all the elements of a song that is ready to be on the radio right now. Lyric are great. Very catchy hook. Instruments are polished and have a great mixture of sound. I like that you added a guitar sole in the song. That seems to be a fading art, unfortunately. Vocals have a good unique sound and tone. Back up vocals are a great dynamic touch to the song.

    - Brian Mathew Taylor

How did I come to be in this situation?
Everybody's gassing, but there's no conversation
Keep staring at the girls till my eyes begin to hurt
They just wanna talk, but I just wanna flirt

Everybody's talkin.
Nobody's got anything to say

Hi, Mrs Brown how's your rheumatism
Seems to hold you back, it affects your disposition
It don't reall matter, I've got bigger fish to fry
So, if you'll please excuse me
While I wave ya'll goodbye

The sounds of the city seem to knock me on my back
I'm lookin' for some light, but my whole world is turned to black
It seems that all my life is a clearly open book
But let me tell you, honey, I'm not worth a second look
