Story Behind The Song
My friend Nina was moving from San Francisco to New York, although both big cities, I was worried about her all on her own out there in the Big Apple, and hence this song was born.
Song Description
When a child or friend makes a big move in their life they are filled with excitement and hope for new experiences, but sometimes their family and friends have some trepidation. This song offers some tips for surviving a big change as a young woman moves into the big city. While the lyrics are comical the message is really that no matter what we love you and want you to be happy and safe, we will miss you once you leave but you can always come back home.
