Lyrics

Let Him In

Don't know what's wrong with you
And why you feel like there's no tomorrow
No matter what you do
You can't stop that feeling of sorrow

You make all that money
But things are always tight
You buy expensive clothes
But they don't fit right

You got a beautiful woman
But never satisfied
You got the best drugs
But you can't get high

Here He stands at the door and knocks
And all you got to do is
Let Him in

He can free your mind and save you soul
Just open up
and let Him in

Can't soothe your pain
Some things in life can be hard to swallow
Don't matter what you obtain
Your victories always seem hallow

You got your accolades
But they spit on you
You're driving the best car
But the payment is overdue

You got that big promotion
But you're working all the time
You travel across the ocean
About to lose your mind

First of all great job on the enthusiastic and catchy tune. I can feel the joy that inspired the lyrics and overall feel of the tune. If the Doobie Brothers and Prince did a song together it would sound like this. Great guitar mastery and a pleasure to listen to. I hear songs like this on the Christian stations that don't just play 3rd Day and Jeremy Camp all day. I would like to hear more music like this. Great job!
