Story Behind The Song
It certainly started out as my life story but during the writing, an uncle that I never got on well with, died, and I let the emotion carry me as a diary note does expressing how I felt at the time. I'm happy with the accuracy of the lyrics, as attested by all who know my circumstance, even though it was a risk running down into the Rock genre as I did.
Song Description
An angry depiction of my struggle to put into some context the all consuming passion I have for music.

Lyrics
It?s Over
Never thought of it as wasted time
This music broke my heart
It doesn?t matter when the words don?t rhyme
Just as long as the feelings start.
Sort of took me by surprise it?s true
That I could ever feel this way
It?s taken me till now to make it through
Expressing what I needed to say.
My life was filled with passions
Words that linger in my head
You keep the flame from going out of here
It?s over when they say you?re dead.
Spaced out on a chord that I just learned
Trying to match it with a million scenes
I knew deep down that I would get this burned
In the hope I?d understand what it means.
Bury this son of a bitch in a shallow grave
Let some virgin sleep underneath this sky
As a Salvation Army band tries one more save
It?s over when they say you die.
My life was filled with passions
Words that linger in my head
You keep the flame from going out of here
It?s over when they say you?re dead.
